Crushing Stigmas and Ending Addictions

The Las Cruces Suicide Prevention Task Force is hosting its Annual Recovery Event Summit!

 

The Recovery Celebration will feature local MCO’s and vendors are invited to set up information booths allowing community members to make connections with supportive services and resources. Food, water, games, and face painting will be offered. Local entertainment, live music, and various speakers will be present.

Socorro Recovery Pow-Wow

September 9th, 2023
8 am to 8 pm

The event will start with early morning prayer and pollen sprinkling, followed by a presentation of colors by the Disabled American Veterans Color Guard.

Along with an incredible Pow-Wow, the event will feature food vendors, along with arts and craft vendors focusing on Mental Health and Substance Use Awareness.  There will be opportunities for attendees to win donated items as door prizes throughout the day.

Ancora Peer Support Center and
Advocates Recovery Celebration Event - ABQ


September 15th, 2023

The event will feature vendors, city resources, bands, games, and Lego building,

held at the Ancora Peer Support Drop-in Center. The Drop-in center is 1,000sq ft. space and includes a fully operable café and two performance spaces both indoors and outdoors, along with a shaded patio space.

Kewa Family Wellness Center is hosting a community-wide event filled with fun traditional activities, food, and access to education on programs offered. The event will be to both educate the community on services available as well as to build trust, relationships, and interdependence. The Pueblo of Pojoaque R.O.A.D Program is hosting its 6th annual recovery celebration!

 

The event intends to create awareness and supports for persons who've struggled or are struggling with substance use and recovery. 

The event features fun activities, including- a car show, motorcycle run, free food, and an all-ages event filled with entertainment, face painting, and motivational speakers in active recovery.

Farmington celebrates recovery! The Mental Health Task Force of San Juan County is partnering with the Farmington Police Department's National Night Out for an afternoon of fun and activities!

Albuquerque Center for Hope and
Recovery 5th Annual Hero Run

8 am -

This year marks the 5th Annual Hero Run for Alburquerque Center for Hope and Recovery (ACHR).

Event Sign-in and day-of registration will take place from 7 am - 8 am. The race will begin promptly at 8 am.

Participants will receive an event T-shirt and swag bag. Fifteen minutes prior to the start of the race, ACHR will offer a warm-up and stretch for participants. There will be water stations throughout the course in addition to arrows and flags to guide participants throughout the run.
