Description: The community coming together will celebrate a day with individuals in recovery focusing on “Healing, Recovery and Wellness”. There will be speakers and special guests telling their stories of hope and that long-term recovery is possible from the perspective of drug and treatment courts graduates and alumni. There will be live music, food, prizes, raffles, a motorcycle run, and exhibitors providing information on substance abuse, behavioral health and peer support services. Come join us for a day of friendship and support for recovery!

Description: The Mental Health Task Force, part of San Juan Safe Communities Initiative, would like to invite you to celebrate September 2021 Recovery Month with us. Our Path to Wellness celebration will include a live DJ with activities that will lead you around informational booths featuring local agencies. The kids can enjoy a free bouncy house and face painting while you meet the friendly faces of our service community. Food will be available while you listen to some selected recovery stories that can inspire anyone to follow in their footsteps. A panel of community members will be speaking on teen suicide, providing advice on how to speak to your teen, when critical intervention is necessary, and where to seek help.
